The CIVIL AIR PATROL is the United States Air Force Auxiliary and
provides services to America through the Air Force, Fema, Pema,
and in support of many Emergencey Service's including The Red Cross,
National Guard, Air Force and Army Reserves, The ROTC program,
and many school programs.
Civil Air Patrol performs 85% to 90% of the inland search and rescue
missions for the U.S. Air Force. Saving about 50 to 100 persons a year
in 50 states and 2 territories.
Since Sept 11, 2001, CAP has been incorporated into the homeland security
plans for the safety of the homeland.
If you ever wanted to help your country in
a time of need, NOW IS THAT TIME.
If you can not volunteer but want to help. You may donate to the squadron by making cash donations to "The CIVIL AIR PATROL Squadron 601" and send them to Squadron 601, 6 Mill Spring Lane, Washington, PA. 15301.
All donations are tax deductable.
Your donations will be used for needed equipment, training materials and community education.
